The term VAG Coding Specialist LTD or we refers to the owner of the website whose registered office is International House, 36-38 Cornhill, London EC3V 3NG, United Kingdom (Reg No: 11014990 VAT GB: 340950708). The term consumer or customer refers to the user or viewer of our website. If, for reasons beyond our reasonable control, we are unable to supply the goods to you, we may cancel the agreement at any time before the goods are delivered by giving notice to you. In the event of this, we will refund to you any sums paid by you or on your behalf under or in relation to the agreement. We will not be liable for any other loss or damage arising from such cancellation.
Payment and Refund Policy
Payments accepted via credit or debit card through our web portal or invoicing system will be processed via a third-party payment provider. Refunds can take up to five (5) or ten (10) business days to be reflected on the customer's statement. Please note that business days do not include weekends or bank holidays. The funds would be reversed to the original method of payment. Refunding and cancelling payments refunds can only be sent back to the original payment method used in a charge. It’s not possible to send a refund to a different destination (for example, another card or bank account). For all E-commerce online store orders, refunding, or cancelling payments via credit or debit card, the processing fees from the original charge transaction aren’t returned due to our third-party payment provider Stripe & Square policies of not refunding the original transaction fees. The following payment methods are currently accepted: Apple Pay, bank transfer, Bitcoin cryptocurrency, cash, debit & credit card, Google Pay, and PayPal.
General Refund Policy
Refunds to expired or cancelled cards are handled by the customer’s card issuer and, in most cases, credited to the customer’s replacement card. If no replacement exists, the card issuer usually delivers the refund to the customer using an alternative method (for example, a check or bank account deposit). In rare cases, a refund back to a card may fail, but the fees from the original charge are not returned. VAG CODING SPECIALIST LTD is authorized and regulated by LAYBUY (UK) LIMITED credit. E-commerce Refund Policy
All electronic digital content, purchased services (remote programming services) purchased from the consumer, will be subject to our discretion for a refund. We do offer a thirty (30) calendar-day money-back guarantee for downloading digital content services or tech support only. This would apply if we cannot perform or complete the required work. You lose your right to a return if you download or start using the software during the thirty (30) calendar-day period. If you choose a shipping method more expensive than the cheapest option offered by VCS LTD when placing the order, we are not required to reimburse any relevant supplementary costs. We do not pay the cost for the shipping of any returned goods correctly supplied to us, or any customs duties and taxes on importation or exportation. We are not liable for customs duty and Value Added Tax on importation/exportation. International return packages without a customs declaration that contain goods liable to customs duty or control may be seized by the customs authorities. We are not liable if the package is lost or destroyed. All customs duties need to be paid by the buyer. If you refuse to pay customs duties after purchasing the products, resulting in a failure to receive the goods, the loss will not be within the scope of our claim. Please place your order carefully. All UK domestic and international shipments are processed via UPS Express courier service.
Customs Declaration
UPS is unable to provide two (2) delivery attempts on the same day. Your driver may make a second delivery attempt on the next business day and a third attempt on the following business day, if necessary. If any orders are not collected within the UPS standard delivery attempts, the package may need to be collected at the local UPS access point. If the estimated time of arrival (ETA) falls on a national holiday in the destination country, then delivery will occur on the next business day. We do not refund any shipping costs if any orders are returned to us as a result of failing to sign for the package or refusing to pay customs duties. This policy applies to both UK domestic and international shipments. PLEASE NOTE: Upon delivery of your order, you are responsible for checking the number of boxes as well as the condition of the packages (the number of boxes is stated on the delivery notification). Any damaged or missing boxes should be noted with the delivery courier before signing. Severe weather, natural disasters, and other conditions beyond our control can occasionally disrupt courier services during your delivery window. UPS Standard parcels are generally delivered anytime Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. (and sometimes later) to residences and to business addresses during their normal business hours. While UPS Standard parcels cannot be scheduled to arrive at a specific time, UPS express shipments have guaranteed delivery times that vary by service.
Refund Policy for Digital Content and Services
By purchasing any digital content and services, you agree to and consent to our terms and conditions, terms of sale, and terms of service epitomized by VAG CODING SPECIALIST LTD. Please read the T&Cs carefully before proceeding with any orders. All e-commerce orders and invoices processed and paid do not allow for any claims of fraudulent charges without knowledge. This applies to orders that are prepaid in full or have payment approved. Regarding digital products, I explicitly agree that the contract execution starts before the cancellation period ends. I am aware that my right to cancel ends when the execution begins. All prices shown include VAT and are correct at the time of publishing. They are subject to change without prior notice and do not include shipping costs. Cheques are not accepted under any circumstances. Value-added tax (VAT) in the United Kingdom is charged at the current rate of 20% to customers within the European Community. For customers outside of Europe, VAT will be automatically removed at checkout. Pricing is charged in GBP (£) pounds sterling.
VAT and Refund Policies VAT-registered businesses within Europe (EU)
For VAT-registered businesses within Europe (EU), enter a valid EU VAT number to apply for a VAT reverse charge in the store checkout settings. If you are situated outside the European Community (Far East, Africa, Asia, North/South America & Oceania), UK VAT is not payable. Customers within the EC are charged VAT unless you have a VAT-registered business and can provide us with a valid EU VAT number and proof of your business address, such as a letterhead or a company website. All new parts supplied are covered by the Volkswagen Automotive Group's two (2)-year parts factory warranty. Special order (SO) and electrical items require a full payment deposit before ordering, and this fee is non-refundable in the event of cancellation. VIN-specific items (chassis-coded parts) are strictly non-refundable or returnable. Any parts ordered for a particular vehicle (i.e., a vehicle with a specific chassis number), including, without limitation, keys, lock barrels, and wiring looms, are considered special order (SO) items. SO items usually take seven (7) to fourteen (14) business days to arrive in stock. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the delivery date for special order items.
Return Period
Parts, excluding (SO), electric, can be returned up to fourteen (14) calendar days starting the day after your order was delivered, provided they are in their original packaging, undamaged, and in the same condition as when delivered to you. Diagnostic testers and VAS equipment are strictly non-returnable if any seal(s) have been broken or removed. All returned items will be subject to a handling charge equal to fifteen (15%) of the price we have incurred from our agents (parts team). Diagnostic tooling or any part returns, diagnostics, or tuning services do not cover any acts of God or natural disasters.
Terms and Conditions of Equipment Hire and Software Downloads
The hire of equipment requires its return within fourteen (14) calendar days from the completion of all work finalized. No refunds will be issued for any delayed or expired return date or if any security seal(s) have been removed from any equipment. CAN filter(s) are covered by a one (1) year warranty from the date of purchase. We do not lease, loan, sell, sub-license, cede, transfer, or supply GeKo accounts to third parties. Software download(s) are covered under a six (6) months warranty from the date of purchase for any operating system issues only. Corrupt Windows installations, fresh new Windows installations, and third-party antivirus software removal tools are not covered under our policy towards software installation warranties. We do not accept any liability if any work has been undertaken or agreements have taken place based on any third-party recommendations we provide for private, public, or trade customers. We have no influence on these third-party services. We expressly dissociate ourselves from all recommendations of linked third-party services.
No Refunds for Late Returns or Tampered Equipment
Any returned packages that have not been received by VAG Coding Specialist LTD, and for which tracking numbers cannot be provided, will be the sole responsibility of the shipper. To return an item, you must obtain a return number. Please email us at [email protected] to obtain a return number. You may return any unused, unopened products in their original condition, including the original packaging, within 14 calendar days of receiving the item, and you will receive a full refund. Please note that no returns will be issued for any items that have been used. We require the following information to process your return. Note: Your return will not be processed if you do not provide all the required information.

We reserve the right to charge for services carried out if the work cannot be completed due to defective, faulty parts, incorrect parts, invalid parts, or any other FAZ/ERP/SVM error messages received from the central database FAZIT (S22)/(S42). Labor spent on working and diagnosing vehicles is priced or timed. All diagnostic programming work performed by us is covered under a minimum of one (1) year warranty, which applies only to new parts. Used parts come with a three (3)-month warranty; defective or internally faulty components are excluded. Any third-party involvement in performing work on any controllers is excluded from the warranty. Charges apply to our services for each diagnostic one (1)-time entry, per session only. Please place your order carefully as no refunds will be issued for the outcome of data request results if the part(s) are internally faulty, defective, blocked, stolen, or are invalid replacement components. We will not accept any liability if this does not resolve the issue.
No Refunds for Faulty or Invalid Parts
Please be aware if any security-enabled part(s) (etc.), specially protected vehicle component(s) (component protection active), are identified as stolen by FAZIT. The data request will be blocked by the central database FAZIT with FAZ2781E/FAZ4990E error message and will refuse the release of component protection. VCS LTD will still charge the full price for this service for labor spent on the vehicle and network connection to VW Group systems network logon server fees. We actively assist VWAG factory in preventing criminal activity for any law enforcement inquiries regarding stolen parts. Used immobilizer parts now need to be manually security vetted since February 2021 via Service Technik Automotive Security Feld AUDI AG. If the request is refused due to stolen/blocked parts, VCS LTD will still charge the full price for labor and time spent on the vehicle, and no refunds will be issued. We will not accept any liability for ECU/key(s) alignment if, for any reason, the adaptation fails and the immobilizer is deactivated or a new identity is required. We do not accept any liability for any component(s) if destroyed during flashing software updates. All software updates are carried out at the customer's own risk.

Security-Enabled Parts
All security-enabled component services will require a receipt as proof of purchase. We will also reserve the right to see the V5C and a valid photo ID (e.g., driver's license or passport).
Terms and Conditions for Vehicle Modifications by VCS LTD Disclaimer of Liability
All modifications that deviate from OEM specifications, carried out by VCS LTD, are done at the owner's risk. We will not accept any liability if any powertrain issues arise. We do not offer any warranty or insurance for modified parts or vehicles. If you are not satisfied with the work we have performed, we will refund the cost within seven (7) calendar days of completion, excluding installation costs. However, this only applies to Stage 1 maps, and any additional features are excluded. Refunds will not be accepted if any third parties have tampered with any hardware or software modifications. If the ECU/TCU file is erased during a dealership visit or by third parties, or if the ECU/TCU calibration file requires reflashing, additional costs of £90.00 Incl. VAT via OBD or £108.00 Incl. VAT if the bench method is required for us to rewrite the file to the controller. By accepting any work performed by VCS LTD, the consumer/customer accepts the T&Cs outlined by VCS LTD. With regards to tuning modifications, I explicitly agree that the execution of the contract commences before the end of the cancellation period. I understand that my right of cancellation terminates with the commencement of execution. All quoted power figures are estimates and not guaranteed to produce actual results based on our statistical database. Vehicles and engine components should always be maintained and serviced regularly, free of any mechanical or internal faults, to achieve our quoted power figures.

If, for any reason, a tech support booking is missed or cancelled, we will impose a £25.00 cancellation fee. Booking fees for call-out support are non-refundable if the appointment is missed or cancelled.
